This position involves working in communicable disease surveillance, giving vaccinations at our on-site immunization clinic and at mobile vaccine clinics in the community, and supporting our rabies post-exposure immunization program. Wage commensurate with experience. This is a shift position - 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.

An employee in this position is responsible for assisting the School Bus Driver in the safe transportation of the student(s) assigned. The incumbent will assist students to safely embark and disembark from a school bus and will maintain proper student behavior on the bus. The work is performed under the general supervision of the assigned driver, with overall supervision by the Transportation Supervisor. The School Bus Monitor will follow specific duties/expectations outlined in the assigned student(s) individual education plan (IEP) as well as other duties/expectations required. The successful completion of New York State Education Department (SED) mandated training and testing is required before the candidate can assume this position.

Dryden Summer Camp location - Freeville Elementary School.  Camp runs from July 6 to August 14 with some hours the week of June 29. 

COMPUTER EXPERIENCE A MUST. 

This posting is for our Youth Employment Project targeted toward High School students ages 16-18. Work will be performed with the Public Works Department staff gaining real world work experience. Work will be physical, using hand tools and outside the whole shift. Employees will not be operating any heavy equipment.
