This is a lateral transfer opportunity. In order to be eligible, you must be permanent and past probation in the title of Caseworker. Vacancies occur regularly in the title of Caseworker in the Tompkins County Social Services and Mental Health departments. The Town of Groton Highway Department is looking for a full time Heavy Equipment Mechanic. The Highway department is mostly made up of International ten wheelers. Along with pay loaders, a motor grader, cat excavator, and a couple tractors. Hours will be the same as the highway crew of 6am-4:30pm in summertime and 6am-3pm Monday- Thursday 6am-12pm Fridays in the Fall and winter.
