MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field AND at least 5 years of experience in fiber networks, including outside plan (OSP) operations and network management  OR

2. Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field AND at least 7 years of experience in fiber networks, including outside plan (OSP) operations and network management OR

3. Any combination of training and experience equal to or greater than that specified in (a) and (b) above.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

This is an in-person role requiring daily on-site attendance to achieve essential functions.  An individual in this role must live in Tompkins County or in one of the six adjoining counties within 3 months of starting the position.

The applicant will possess a valid NYS Driver’s License with a good driving record at the time of application and maintain such license for the duration of employment.
