Minimum Qualifications

In order for County Personnel to determine a candidate's eligibility for a position the applicant must document in writing on the application how they meet the minimum qualifications related to the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EITHER:

(a) Graduation from a regionally accredited college of university with an Associate’s degree in criminal justice, human services, social work or related field OR

(b) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and two (2) years experience in a criminal justice, human services, social work or related field.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:

Completion of eJustice certification within six months of appointment.

Must complete a thorough background investigation. May be required to authorize access to educational, financial, employment, criminal history, mental health records or other records. Conviction or other offense is subject to evaluation and may bar appointment. Failure to meet the standards may result in disqualification.
