MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EITHER:

(A)      Graduation from a college or university with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering science, architecture, construction management or a related field with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a related field, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity, OR

(B)      Graduation from a college or university with an associate degree in engineering, engineering science, architecture, construction management or a related field with a minimum of six (6) years’ experience in a related field, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity; OR

(C)      An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Possession of a NYS Professional Engineers License and complete necessary licensure renewal training every three years for duration of employment.  While possession of this license is not a requirement of the position, preference in appointment may be given to those with the license.

Take and subscribe the constitutional oath of office and file such in either the Town or County Clerk’s office, before assuming duties.

Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s license and maintains a good driving record throughout appointment.

Responsiveness to Town constituents and Town Board during emergencies and highly pressurized circumstances.  Salaried position available for emergency situations.
