Senior Cleaner

Minimum Qualifications

In order for County Personnel to determine a candidate's eligibility for a position the applicant must document in writing on the application how they meet the minimum qualifications related to the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EITHER:

(a) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma AND one year of full-time paid (or equivalent part-time and/or volunteer) supervisory experience in a large scale cleaning operation; OR

(b) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma AND four years of full-time paid (or equivalent part-time and/or volunteer) cleaning experience; OR

(c) Any equivalent combination of training and experience equal to or greater than that specified in (a) and (b) above.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:

Appointees must possess a valid New York State Driver’s License or otherwise demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation requirements of the position.
