CUSTODIAN:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  One year of full-time experience in building cleaning or maintenance experience.

                                                                     CUSTODIAN-BUS DRIVER:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  One year of full-time experience in building cleaning or maintenance experience AND Eligibility for the appropriate operator's license issued by the State of New York at the time of application.  Possession of such license is required at the time of appointment.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS;

( a)    Applicants must satisfy requirements of the Bus Drivers set forth I the rules and regulations of the New York State Commissioner of Education.  

(b)    Appointees will be required to possess and maintain a valid New York State Driver’s license of the appropriate degree to operate a school buss throughout the life of the appointment.

NOTE: The Civil Service Exam for the Custodian and Custodian-Bus Driver positions is a combined exam, therefore, the job description is listed with both titles.
