Principal Account Clerk/Typist

Minimum Qualifications

In order for County Personnel to determine a candidate's eligibility for a position the applicant must document in writing on the application how they meet the minimum qualifications related to the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  EITHER:

a.   Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered two year college with a major in accounting, business or a closely related field and two years of experience maintaining financial accounts and records; OR

b.   Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and four years of experience maintaining financial accounts and records; OR

c.   An equivalent combination of training and experience equal to or greater than that specified in (a) or (b) above.
