Payroll / Accounts Payable Clerk

Minimum Qualifications

In order for County Personnel to determine a candidate's eligibility for a position the applicant must document in writing on the application how they meet the minimum qualifications related to the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

(a)  Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate’s degree in accounting, business administration or a closely related field AND two years of full-time paid (or the equivalent part-time and/or volunteer) payroll and/or accounts payable experience; OR

(b)  Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma AND four years of full-time paid (or the equivalent part-time and/or volunteer) payroll and/or accounts payable experience; OR

(c)  Any equivalent combination of training and experience equal to or greater than that described in (a) and (b) above.
